About Generator Grove

What this site is

Generator Grove is a collection of free browser-based tools for classroom activities, random selections, names, titles and styled text — printable worksheets and puzzles, fair draws, name and title ideas, and Unicode text styling. Each tool does one thing and is reachable directly, without a sign-up step.

How the tools work

The generators run in your browser using JavaScript. There is no server-side processing, which means whatever you type into a tool stays on your device. This is a deliberate design constraint rather than a policy promise: there is no backend to receive the data in the first place.

That claim is about your input, and it is worth being exact about its edges rather than letting it sound broader than it is. The site carries no advertising yet; when it does, the ad code will make its own requests and set its own cookies once you consent, and you will see that traffic in your browser's network tab. What you will not see is your text going anywhere, because nothing here is built to send it. The privacy policy sets out what the ad vendors will collect.

How the site is funded

The tools are free. The site is intended to be funded by advertising rather than subscriptions: we do not sell data, and we do not put tools behind a paywall or an email capture. What advertising will involve is disclosed in our privacy policy.

If a tool produces a wrong result or an explanation on this site is inaccurate, we want to know. Report it through the contact page and we will correct it.
